Looking Back/Looking ahead 

 

The last day of any year is a great time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished, and to set goals for the year to come.   

Speaking for Wine Country Woodcraft, it’s been a year of tremendous growth, getting our products into the homes of an ever-growing number of food and wine lovers.  Our in-person outreach has expanded beyond local, small crafts fairs in 2022, and included several large wine festivals.  (Many of you have met me and my partner-in-crime, Glenn at one or more of these events.)  The creation of many new products such as our Party Plates have been a huge hit, and our wine tables that started it all have evolved and are still selling like gangbusters!  

So how does WCW follow up a great 2022 with an even bigger and better 2023?  Here are a few goals for Wine Country Woodcraft moving forward: 

1. Continue to develop new products.  Variety is the spice of life, and with that in mind, we’re developing a wide variety of new cutting, serving and charcuterie board designs.  In addition, some new wine rack styles will be offered to address different wine storage needs.  You’re going to love our new products! 

1. We’ll be selling directly at more and more food and wine festivals, expanding beyond our local area.  These festivals are a lot of fun, and it’s always great to meet our customers in person.  Check winecountrywoodcraft.net for a listing of planned events. 

1. While food and wine accessories continue to be our main focus, we’ve been getting more and more requests for a variety of custom products.  While we’re not going to be able to accommodate every request, it’s always fun to create something from a photo, sketch, or even a description.  We welcome your requests and don’t be surprised to see some new products inspired by your ideas that go beyond the norm. 

1. Speaking of the website, WCW will be evolving.  Some older products will be retired, and those new products will be added, keeping things fresh.  Please check back regularly to see our latest offerings.  And as always, please feel free to contact me at mike@winecountrywoodcraft.net with any questions of with custom engraving or other requests.
